Why should you trust us?
I believe neurodiversity should be understood, supported and celebrated — not “fixed.”
For more than 30 years, I have worked alongside neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults to create environments where they can succeed and reach their full potential. My experience spans schools, workplaces, homes, and community settings, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities individuals face across different stages of life.
Throughout my career, I have developed successful classrooms, support systems, and practical strategies that help neurodivergent individuals build on their strengths, increase independence, and thrive in their environments. I have also partnered with parents, educators, administrators, employers, and adult clients to design individualized plans that promote success at home, in school, and in the workplace.
My consulting approach focuses on understanding each person's unique needs and strengths while helping organizations create inclusive, supportive environments. Whether working with schools to improve educational outcomes, assisting companies in developing neurodiversity-friendly workplaces, or supporting families and individuals in navigating daily challenges, my goal is to create practical solutions that foster growth, confidence, and long-term success.
My work is grounded in the belief that neurodiversity should be understood through several key components, which is part of our Four Lens approach: Strengths, Needs, Environment, and Individual goals.
We focus on:
- Practical Implementation
- Respectful and Individualized Support
- Strength-Based Strategies
- Sustainable Systems
- Collaboration Between Individuals, Families, Schools and Workplaces
- Creating Environments Where People CAN Thrive
My Story
People often ask me why I’ve dedicated my career to working with neurodivergent individuals. The answer is simple—I found my purpose.
While I was in college, I had the opportunity to work one-on-one with neurodivergent students. Whereas my peers saw people to run away from, I saw people I was drawn to. Whereas some of my peers saw neurodivergent students as “problem children,” I saw them as young people full of possibility.
I quickly discovered that what inspired me most wasn’t simply teaching skills; it was witnessing transformation. Watching someone gain confidence, overcome obstacles, and accomplish something they once believed was impossible became the fuel that has driven me ever since.
After college, I continued working with neurodivergent individuals, supporting adults in their communities and coaching them to be successful in the workplace. I learned that success isn’t about changing the individual—it’s about understanding how they think, recognizing their strengths, and creating the right strategies and supports so they can thrive.

For the past 25 years, I’ve worked with neurodivergent students from kindergarten through age 21. Many of the students I supported struggled in traditional classroom environments. Too often, the focus was on what wasn’t working instead of discovering what would help them succeed.
Those experiences shaped the philosophy that guides my work today.
Every neurodivergent individual is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. My first priority is always to understand the person—their strengths, challenges, interests, and goals. From there, I work alongside families, educators, organizations, and the individual to create environments and practical strategies that allow them to feel safe, confident, and capable of reaching their full potential.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen an incredible truth repeated over and over again: when we stop trying to fit neurodivergent individuals into environments that weren’t designed for them and instead build environments that recognize their unique ways of thinking and learning, extraordinary things happen.
That belief is the foundation of The Divergent’s Gift.
My mission is to help individuals, families, schools, and organizations recognize that neurodivergence isn’t something to be “fixed.” It’s a unique way of experiencing the world that, with the right understanding and support, becomes a tremendous strength.
My passion is helping people discover that gift and creating the conditions where they can truly flourish.
